French TV show produced by Gilles Margaritis and dedicated to circus, recorded mostly in the Paris Cirque d’hiver and broadcasted every Wednesday evening on RTF Television, then on ORTF first channel (March 11, 1954 – December 1974) then on Antenne 2 (January 1975 – October 29, 1978). Presented in the prestigious Paris Cirque d’hiver, the show was directed by Pierre Tchernia and hosted by Michel Francini, then by 1965-1978 ringmaster Roger Lanzac. La Piste aux étoiles presented a lot of circus artists each week, accompanied by Bernard Hilda’s big orchestra.

La Piste aux étoiles était une émission de télévision française de Gilles Margaritis consacrée au cirque, enregistrée principalement au Cirque d'hiver de Paris et diffusée chaque mercredi soir sur RTF Télévision, puis sur la première chaîne de l'ORTF du 11 mars 1954 à décembre 1974, puis sur Antenne 2 de janvier 1975 jusqu'au 29 octobre 1978. L'émission, présentée dans le décor somptueux du Cirque d'hiver de Paris, était réalisée par Pierre Tchernia et animée par Michel Francini puis Roger Lanzac, Monsieur Loyal de 1965 à 1978.
