The Story of Three Loves (Histoire de trois amours)

Three loosely connected stories about love set in Europe and told in flashback. « The jealous lover » : Paula is a talented dancer who cannot truly live unless she dances. But she has a heart condition, which means she risks death if she does. « Mademoiselle » : Tommy hates being a child and despises his French tutor. He wants to be an adult so he can do what he wants. He gest his wish for one afternoon: being transformed into a handsome young man for one evening, he learns about being a man and falls for his tutor. « Equilibrium » : Pierre Narval is a trapeze artist who gave it up when his partner died doing a dangerous stunt at his bidding. He happens to rescue young beautiful Nina as she throws herself into the Seine, and convinces her to become his new aerial partner.
