When her grandmother goes away on a trip, 7-year-old Mimiko stays at home by herself in her small, friendly village, unafraid of burglars. When she arrives back home from the train station where she saw her grandmother off, she discovers she has a visitor — a baby panda. She quickly makes friends with the young panda and names it Pannie. She later meets Pannie's father, a large panda she calls Papanda. She dubs Pannie her son and Papanda her father, and the three become a happy family with their own big adventures.

Snoopy joins a circus.

Parasolka works as a handyman in a traveling circus. He does the cleaning, drives the truck when travelling. One day, the car conveying the troupe breaks down and Parasolka finds himself alone in the arena in front of the audience… Thus the handyman becomes an artist.

A circus owner attempts to capture a mysterious Bunyip, but Dot and her bushland friends try to foil his plans. Dot soon discovers that the circus is merely a front for an international wildlife smuggling operation. Backed by her pals, Burra the Kookaburra and two boxing kangaroos, Dot goes on the warpath.

A little boy is locked up in Bastille metro station. Wandering along the undergound corridors he arrives in a clown’s dressing room. Together they resurface and find themselves in the middle of a circus ring.

In 1950s Tokyo, a little orphaned girl joins a freak-show circus troupe whose members rape and abuse her. She then finds a glimmer of hope in the enigmatic magician who joins the group.

Four pacific dinosaurs are coveted by devilish Pr. Screweyes who wants to make them the star attraction of his eccentric circus. But street kids Louie and Cecilia keep watch over the gentle monsters…
